Wexøe Case Study:

Beauty in the details – Berker 1930 Porcelain Series

Kjær Architecture is always on the lookout for products and materials that embody the quality, functionality, and expression that is at the heart of the Kjær design philosophy. And for a recent project, electrical devices from the Berker 1930 Porcelain Series have fit the bill beautifully.

For the refurbishment of his own apartment, Henrik Kjær Christiansen selected Berger electrical switches and outlets in black porcelain. The devices integrate perfectly in Henrik’s restoration and interpretation of the historically-listed interior, as originally designed by Danish architects C.F. Møller and Kay Fisker, seamlessly creating a subtle dialogue between the historic functionalism of the original design and the modern sophistication of the new.
